Disclaimer: About This Blog

THIS BLOG IS: my personal journey of how I am rethinking some of my spiritual beliefs.
THIS BLOG IS NOT: intended to point fingers at people who I think are wrong.
I do not believe the final judgement will be based on how many correct answers we get on a theology exam. I believe many people throughout history have had genuine relationships with our Lord and Saviour Jesus, despite holding questionable beliefs and practices. I make no claim to having it all figured out or being your judge. If we end up disagreeing over these topics I pray we can find a way to demonstrate grace.

Playdough Scripture Matt 22:38-40

"Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God Study correct doctrines with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Get involved (serve) in a local church that believes correct doctrines 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Matthew 22:37-40 (Playdough Version)

Playdough Scripture is great! You can squish and reshape it to fit into any box! Try it yourself! Fun for the whole family of God. :)

this made me chuckle.

and also realize that i am guilty of believing that God is like playdough, molding Himself to fit the needs of my life.

that was refreshing, thanks :)

Thanks righter27 for the comment. Yes I've been sort of chuckling as I've been putting a few more of these together. I was hoping they would come across partially humorous and partially challenging.

Even if nobody else get's my humor, I think it's therapeutical for some of the craziness that goes around inside my head. :)

If this is true, then I'm first in the kingdom!

Good for you Steve Scott, first in the playdough kingdom! :) Should we build you a playdough throne?
