I always felt sorry for the Emperor in the story of Emperor's New Clothes. It wasn't really his fault that he was walking around naked. Everybody just kept on lying to him and saying that they loved his new clothing. Poor guy didn't know that he was slightly under-dressed.
Anyways, there is a new book out there called The Pastor Has No Clothes. I haven't read it, and I'm not sure I need to. But just wanted to share this link. Read the description for more info:

Thanks Swanny. I like the cover, and like the title. Since I haven't read it I shouldn't really recommend it. I feel I've been doing enough of my own studying on this topic lately. But I hope those who would benefit from studying this topic would pick it up and join the conversation.

I've got the book and am reading through it. It's good so far but don't think it is anything that I haven't read in other places. If you have studied the issue a lot then this text might seem like a re-peat for you.
I agree with you Eric.. if you have read any of Zens earlier articles it does tend to repeat in this book.
