I think you'll marvel at the change in perspective you'll have.
The enemy wants to side track us onto thinking about the things that separate us instead of the One who draws us together.Jeraldhttp://jeraldd.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2203174451356862507.post-37084331992101347192009-04-23T19:36:00.000-05:002009-04-23T19:36:00.000-05:00Thanks Jerald for the comments.

Unfortuanately I often get derailed on some side issue as I'm trying to re-think my essential beliefs. The irony is as I'm seeking unity I am recognizing such diversity of thought on so many positions, and I have sometimes lost my focus as I stumble along.

But yes, loving our brothers and sisters as we love our common Lord is what being a Christ follower is all about.

God bless!Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01266729238990589293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2203174451356862507.post-79647463282151399882009-04-22T16:23:00.000-05:002009-04-22T16:23:00.000-05:00Wonderful words, Jon. Speaking of "those who would believe in Me" Jesus prayed, "I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me."
This is the most evangelistic prayer that could be prayed because when this prayer is answered, and it will be, the world will marvel and look to the church to see their redemption.
Jon, you pray this prayer yourself every day for 3 or 4 weeks and see if it doesn't change the way you see other brothers and sisters. It surely will.Jeraldhttp://jeraldd.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
